Paris Half Marathon

The Paris Half Marathon, 7 March 2027 - also known as the Semi Marathon de Paris - with over 48,000 participants, it is the most popular half marathon in the world.

THE HISTORY OF THE PARIS HALF MARATHON

The Paris Half Marathon was born in 1977 with just over 4,200 athletes. 

THE HALF MARATHON COURSE

The Half Marathon start is scheduled for 08:00 A.M. (first wave), 08:20 (second wave), 08:30 (thirdwave).

The course is flat and fast, with the start and finish in the area of the Opéra National de Paris.

Time limit 4 h 00'.

EXPO / RACE BIB PICK-UP

It takes place at the Grande Halle de La Villette, 211 Avenue Jean Jaurès.

Opening hours:

- Friday from 10:00 to 20:00;

- Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00.

Paris is the most visited city in the world, with almost 30 million tourists a year.

Seen from the River Seine, Paris is a breathtaking sight, and no other European city revolves around its river in the same way, divided as it is into two halves.

It is therefore no surprise that the Paris Marathon ranks among the most important sporting events in France and in the world.

But beyond its Half Marathon, Paris is also the world capital of culture thanks to its magnificent monuments, first and foremost the Eiffel Tower: 324 metres, 10,100 tonnes, 1,665 steps: the undisputed emblem of Paris was erected by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Universal Exhibition.

And then the Louvre, the former royal palace of the kings of France, home to over 35,000 works of art.

We finish with Montmartre, one of the historic hearts of Paris, with its narrow lanes and village atmosphere. Not to be missed: the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and Place du Tertre.

ENTRIES OPEN - PARIS HALF MARATHON - RACE BIBS AVAILABLE

Fees are per person, based on a double/twin room for the 4 days/3 nights

Possible departures:

- from Fri. 5 to Mon. 8 March;

- from Sat. 6 to 9 March.

The above dates can be changed on request.

The Participation Fee comprises:

1- Deposit Fee;
2- Race Bib Fee, for those who request it;
3- Balance Fee.

1- The Deposit Fee varies according to air fares. We therefore recommend requesting a quote for your flight. Alternatively, you can buy your flight on your own.

2- The Race Bib Fee for the race is:

- 105 Euro RATE AVAILABLE .

Guaranteed Race Bibs, as Travelmarathon is an Official Partner of the Paris Marathon. 

3- The Balance Fee is:

- 399 Euro (4 days/3 nights) in Hotel**** Novotel  ** AVAILABLE  **;

- 419 Euro (4 days/3 nights) in Hotel*** Ibis Paris La Défense; ** ALREADY SOLD OUT **;

- 449 Euro (4 days/3 nights) in Hotel**** Melia La Defanse ** ALREADY SOLD OUT **.

The Balance Fee is paid from 120 to 90 days before departure. It is refundable in case of cancellation (see our General Terms and Conditions).

It will always remain fixed and will never increase.

Any extra night costs:

- 89 Euro Hotel ***;

- 99 Euro Hotel ****.

The Travelmarathon group in the La Defanse area

Families/Children:
Travelmarathon wants to look after families, and children in particular, which is why we have always chosen NOT to charge you for your children, apart from out-of-pocket expenses such as - of course - the flight ticket alone (Deposit Fee). In this way we strive to find the hotels best suited to you and your children.  

There are no other costs or extra charges (taxes, entry fees,…) apart from optional ones, such as the possible Travelmarathon/Paris Half Marathon gadget, still to be defined (jacket, rain jacket,… at an indicative price of 19 Euro). 

Travel Insurance (hospitalisation, medical assistance, expense reimbursement, baggage theft, flight delay …): 5.40 Euro. (NOT COMPULSORY BUT STRONGLY RECOMMENDED). Please also note that breakfast is not included in the price, but as we have always done on all our trips, we will secure an attractive offer from the Hotel at excellent prices (e.g. 7 Euro - continental buffet breakfast).

The fee includes

- Accommodation at Hotel *** (3 nights) in a double room with private bathroom;

- Travelmarathon assistance at the Hotel (a tour escort is available 24h);

- Escort to the race and the expo;

NEW FOR PARIS 2026 we have included in the Fee:

- Photo service by our race photographer;

The fee does not include

• - Cancel Insurance equal to about 7,5% of the entire package;

- Booking fee (10,90 Euro);

- Meals and drinks;

- Tickets for all transfers (bus/taxi), visits and excursions;

- any tourist/city taxes;

- Tips, extras in general and anything not expressly listed as included.

- Walking Tour + Bateau Mouche cruise on the Seine. Indicative price: 34 Euro per person.

Single room supplement: 93 Euro per day. For solo athletes who would like to share a double room, the organisation will do its best to assign a roommate.

Entries: send the Registration Form + Race Bib Form (runner only).

Deposit Fee payment: (per person) + Race Bib Fee if requested.

Balance Fee: from 120 to 90 days before departure.
